Scenario 1: Searching for Recruiters at a Specific Company


  1. Go to the LinkedIn Search Bar: At the top of the LinkedIn homepage, type the company name and select it from the dropdown.

  2. Navigate to the Company Page:

    • Once on the company page, click the “People” tab.

  3. Filter for Recruiters:

    • In the search bar on the People tab, type "Recruiter" or "Talent Acquisition."

    • LinkedIn will display all employees with that title at the company.

  4. Refine Your Search:

    • Use filters such as location or job function for a more focused result.

    • Prioritize contacts with "Technical Recruiter," "Senior Recruiter," or "Talent Acquisition Partner" in their titles.

  5. Review Profiles:

    • Look for phrases like “Hiring for [roles]” or recent activity related to recruitment.




Scenario 2: General Search for Recruiters


  • Search for "Recruiters":

    • In the LinkedIn search bar, type: “Recruiter” + [Industry or Location] (e.g., “Recruiter Technology Remote”).

  • Filter Results:

    • Click People under the search results.

    • Use filters to narrow results:

      • Location: Add where you're seeking a role (e.g., “United States” or “Remote”).

      • Industry: Specify industries like “Information Technology” or “Healthcare.”

      • Current Company: If there’s a specific company of interest, filter by it.

  • Identify Recruiters Actively Hiring:

    • Look for profiles with active posts about hiring, mentions of open roles, or those using hashtags like #hiring.


When You’re Unsure of the Right Contact


  • If you can’t find a recruiter or talent acquisition specialist, contact someone from HR or even a department leader for the role you’re targeting. Include a polite request for guidance in connecting with the right person.


Sample Message for Contact:

Hi [Name],I noticed your role as a recruiter at [Company Name]. I’m interested in [specific role or area] and would love to learn more about potential opportunities. Could you share any insights or connect me with the right person? Thank you for your time![Your Name]

By targeting recruiters or talent acquisition specialists directly, you increase your chances of meaningful responses and networking success.
